AUCKLAND, November 30

The Takapuna Jockey Club's Spring Meeting was continued to-day in fine weather. The lattendance was good, and £6,213 was passed through the totalisators. £519 was invested on the double machine on the Stanley and Spring Handicaps won by Gweniad and Avalanche respectively. Ten investors received £46 14s each. Results: —-

'Second Handicap Hurdles, one mile and three-quarters.—Loch Lomond 1, Bellman 2, Irish 3. Scratched—-Princess of Thule and Hinau. Won by over three lengths. Time 3mins. 27secs. Dividends £10 ISs and 13s 6d.

Stanley Handicap, four furlongs.— Gweniad 1, Liberator 2, Anchorite 3. Scratched—Cordon, Rouge, Te Aroba, and Linkloch. Won by two lengths, after making all the running. Time, smins 2 3-ssecs. Dividends £6 11s and £1 7s.

Spring Handicap, one mile.—Avalanche 1, Zuleika 2, Te Aroha 3. Scratched—Swagsma-n. Won easily by over three lengths. Geologist and Maro fell. Time lmin. 45 2-ssecs. Dividends £3 2s .and £1 9s.

Vauxball Handicap, seven furlongs.— Sir Giliad l t Jean 2, Lycia 3. All started. Won by,a neck after a good finish. Time lmin. 33secs. Dividends £3-15s 6d amd £1 Bs.

Second Pony Handicap.—Solitary 1, Sally Hojaier 2^ Whawhai 3. Dividends £9 11s 6d and £1 11s 6d.

Cautley Handicap, six furlongs.— Liberator 1, The Middy 2, La Cigale 3. Also started—Black and Gold. Won easily by four lengths. Time lmin. 17 4-ssees. Dividend £4 19s.

Handicap Steeplechase, about three miles.—Princess of TlTule 1, Wairaka 2, Reckless 3. Scratched—:Hylas, Irish, Perseverance, and Kuranui. Won easily by five lengths. Time 6mins. 3Q.secs. Dividends £2 13s and £1 14s Gd.
