——~—. I Murray, Roberts and Co. report as follows: — j We offered lv bales wool, 3500 sheep ckins, and 200 hides to-day. Buyers were present in force, and bidding for ; till lots of wool and skins was very animated.. Prices were not generally higher ' except in a few ea/ies, although the market was firmer. All kinds of hides were j sLow of sale, at prices slightly lower than j a fortnight ago. We quote prices cur- ! rent to-day as follows: — ' Wool.—Crossbred medium to coarse (oddments) _54-d to 7-d; fair.to medium erutehings ou to s|d, inferior and short i 4±& to 4|d, piece?-, etc.. 2£d to 4d. # ! Sheao skins. —Half-bred and merino C£d to~7d per lb., medium to fine crossbred 6*d to 7d, coai'ise crossbred 6d to 6fd. inferior, pelted 4|d to 6d, lambs' 6^d to 6fd dead and hoggets' 44d to s£d, green skins 2is 6d to- 6s. 6d eaoli. Hides.—Ox: Heavy 23s to 26s 9d, medium; 20s1 to 225, light 17s 6d to 19s. Cow: Heavy 17s to 20s, extra heavy skins up to 22s medium 15s: to 17s. light 1-Is to 15s, damaged hides 8s to 10s.
