The match Auckland v. Otago was played to-day at AlLc^andra Park in nne weaitlier and in the presence of between five and six thousand spectators. Auckland, who had a bit the best of wejglit in the forward division, opened witli tne T\'md and sun in their favour, a*id ran up a dozen points in the first spell, and an additional 3 points dn the second, wmnin.i !by 15 points (penalty goai and tour tries) to nil. For the winners Francis kicked penalty croak, and McGregor, Kiernan, McKenzie, and W. Tyler scored tites.
