The breeding, therefore, on both sides is unquestionably amongst the most fashionable and successful sti-ains of winning blood j stock, as a glance at the pedigree will | show, as follows :—Chain. Shot, by Musket —Locket, by Thunderbolt, her dam Keepsake, by Daniel O'Rourke, Locket, it may be mentioned, is the dam of Medallion, sine of the flying Achilles.
