PIGSKIN CYCLE TYRES.
mEW YORK, May 18. Mr. John Muir, of Leith, Scotland, announces that he has invented a process whereby tanned pSoskins are madia available as a substitute for* rubber for tires.
The pigskinte so treated, are stated to wear longer than rubber, and Mr. Muir is said! to have sold the American rights of his pi-ocess for £1,000,000.
