ST. ANDREW'S KILWINNING LODGE.

A large gathering of the Masonic fraternifrr took place at the local hall last, evening, when Bra. J. G. MeNaught;S.W., was installed in the chair of King Solomon; by tine M.W. Grand Master, Bro. H. J. William's. The installing! officer was assisted by Bro. M. Niocol; G.M., Grandi Secretary, Past Masters Kjeesing, Richardson, Salek, Muir. Go^er, McFarlane, Caiman, Meuli, Stevenson, and Hughes. Bro. J. H. Keesing was in 'hSs usual place as Director of Ceremonies. Bros. Leonard and1 Naylor acted as Qrganfists. Bro. H. Lamb carried out the duties of trumpeter; and a. capable choir tinder the conduotorship of Bro. J- Ciliehtoiis, effectively rendered appropriate music. The following officers vr&CO invested! for tha ensuing twelve months:—l.P.M., Bro. A. G. Bignell; S.W., Bro. G. Gordon; J.W., Bro. R. Mathison; D.C., Bro. J. H. Keesing, P.M.; treasurer, Bro. J. L. Stevenson,, P.M. ; secretary, Bro. J. T. Muir, P.M. j organist, Bflo. A. C. Leonard; S.D., Bra. W. J. Treawell; J.l>.. Bro. A. ,M. McLead; 1.G., Bro. J. J>. McQßeth; tyler, Bro. J. C. Hain.es.; &1.5.. Bro. H. Rice; J.S., Bro. J. Ashwel. During the evening Bro. A. Bignell was presented with a tendlsom© Pas* Meter's jewel, suitably inscribed, and was heartily congraituilated on his successful year of office. A large number of visitors were jwesenti, and the function was in ©very way equal to the many preceding installations held by this prosperous lodge. The annual banquet was held in the lower hall, and Bro. Dustin cateretl in his "usual iex•cellenit manner. With a number of interesting speeohies, songs, and recitations, a very pleasant evening terminated shortly before midnight.
