MAIL NOTICES.
Subject to necessary alteration mails close at the Chief Post Office, Wanganui, for the undermentioned places as follows: — For Wellington and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.m., noon, and 4.10 p.m. For Napiiei" and intermediate offices, daily at 6 a.mi. and noon. For New Plymouth and intermediate offices, daily at 7 a.m., 1.55 p.m., and 3.30 p.m. For Auckland, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, at 1.55 p.m. The postage on letters for Australia has been reduced to one penny for each half ounce, or fraction thereof. Mails are due at the Chief Post Office, Wanganui, from Wellington, daily at 11.45 a.m., 3.10 p.m., and 9.16 p.m., from Napier daily at 3.10 p.m. and 9.16 p.m., from New Plymouth daily at 11.32 a.m., 1.16 p.m. (except on Thursday), 5.20 p.m., Thursday at 9.35 p.m., and' from Auckland, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
