I HEREBY give" notice that the Wanganui Borough Council proposes to take steps to raise by way of Special Loan, under the provisions of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," the sum of £70,000, to be applied as follows: — * (a) For constructing "waterworks" { r*s defined by Section 287 of the said Act) for the supply of water for the use oi tho inhabitants of the Bor ough and for extending and en fca'ging the present "waterworksI.'
