RAETIHI; October. 2.
"Mr. Hotoblow, the Liberal candidate, addressed a most enthusiastic meeting here last night. His address, which lasted two hours', was well received, and a unanimous vote was earned. He is deserving of support of all true Libeiials in tlhe stand taken in contesting the seat and preventing another candidate being "forced on the electorate without consulting the electors interested. His ohancesi are considered most favourable throughout this portion of the electorate as the Liberal candidate.
