REPRESENTATIVE JUNIOR MATCH
There was a large attendance of the public at tlie Recreation Ground yesterday afternoon to witness the contest between the Lyttelton Juniors and tlheWang&nui Jtooioir1 representatives. During tine first spell the game was very even, neither side scaring. At times the play was briEiant, and all through the spell it was most interesting. In the second spell some time elapsed! before a score was made, and it was thought that a draw would be the result of the game. However, after Lyttelton had once crossed the line, the score went up very rapidly, and the game ended in a win for the Southerners by 18 points to nil. Wanganui played very well, but the Lyttolton players had more staying power.
