FREEMAN R. JACKSON AND CO.'s STOCK REPORT.
We held a clearing sate on account of Mr J. W. Peake on the 11th inst. Bidding waa brisk. Dairy cows, horses, and sundries made full values. On the 12th inst. we had our usual Waverfey sole. A fair yarding of stock came forward. Dairy heifers and hoggets were in good demand!, while other classes! showed no quotable change. On the 13th inst. oup horse sale was held. The attendance was good, and bidding fcr all kindly sorts fairly keen, notwithstanding that most of the usual outside buyers who generally attend our sales were away in the Waikato. However, we disposed of most of the entry. —t Wanpanm yesterday we had a good, yarding. Some very prime cows entered, which made from-£9 to £10 10s. Several lines of cattle were yarded, and nearly all sold at auction, with the exception of a nice line of well-bred yearling steers and heifers, which were turned out unsold, not fetching owners' reserves. Otherwise the balk of the catttle soid at ruling prices. Several pens of sheep were yarded, principally hoggets, which mod© a ready sale. Pips elicited keen competition.
