THE CHURCHES.
The nineteenth anniversary of the Baptist Church will be celebrated to-morrow, when the Rev. Arthur Dewdney will conduct the services. In ,the morning he will preach on "Waiting for the Power." The evening service is the monthly young men's service, when Mr. Dewdney's subject will be "Thyself." To-morrow morning the Rev. J. Cocker will speak upon "Mary Magdalene," and in the'evening "Gideon, the Reformer." will be the subject, when lessons for temperance workers will be specially referred to.
In the Gospel Hall on Sunday evening Mr. Corrie Johnston is to give an address on "The God Rejected and God Accepted Man."
At Christ Church to-morrow a Volunteer church parade will be held at 11 a.m. A flower service will be held in the afternoon, when his Lordship the Bishop wil) deliver an address.
