SERIOUS ACCIDENT.

WESTPORT, August 24. A man in the railway employ named William Lawry met with a painful accident to-day. While working in an excavation to pick up an old drain, the sides of the bank, composed ■of shingle, partly fell in on Lawry, who sustained internal injuries.
