At Mr. W. D. Anderson's clearing sale last Friday wo had a good attendance of buyers. Bidding was brisk throughout, everything reaching full values. All classes of cattle were keenly sought after. At St. Hill Street sale yesterday we had a good yarding, principally hoggets andi wethers of good quality. Bidding was brisk, everything being sold, if anything at advanced rates. Pigs—No quotable change. We quote:—Cattle at Mr. Anderson's Sale.—Weaners (good), £2 9s; 15-month to 18-month (mixed), £3 12s; breeding cows, £4 8s; heifers in calf, £4 4s ; bull, £6 15s:; milch cows, £4 10s to £5 Ss.
CaMe !at 'Sit. Hijl Steeet.—W-eaners (good), 38s to £2 Is; others, 20s to 30s; heifers in calf, £3 12s to £4 4s; milch cows, £5 15s to £7 12s 6d. Sheep at Mr. Anderson's Sale.—Hoggets, 3s to 9s 3d; wethers, 11s 9d to 12s; English Leicester rams, 2 guineas to 5£ guineas. Horses—Draught, £18 10s to £30; unbroken lftiM draught. £12 5s to £15; hacks, £4 to £11; sundries sold well.
Sheep at St. Hill Street Sale.—Hoggets firood), 9s 6d to 10s 6d; ewes in lamb, 9s lOd; empty ewes, 7s 6d; light fat wethers, 14s Id; forward ■wethers, -Los 4d ; light fat ewes, 12s lOd ; store wctherg, 11s.
