In the McCarthy case, Dr Barclay, who made the post mortem for the inquest, was Ihe hist witness for the Crown. The injuries he "found wero accouD'sd for by the evidence of Kate McCarthy jd accelerated death.
Mr Raymond, for the accused, called no witnesses, reserving his defence. The accused was committed for trial.
