WELLINGTON, November 26. On Saturday the Phbenix defeated the Old Boya by an innings and 37 runs. In the Midland v. Wellington match, tho Midlands' first innings closed for 274, living ths team a lead of 179, and Wellington has mado 152 in its second innings. Two centuries were scored— Midlmm (Phoenix), 111, not out, and Tucker (Midland), 109, not out.
In a Junior watch, Bidwell. a Wellington Collegt> lad, made 221 not out. °
