The securing of an Imperial order for 1090 tons of oats by a local firm has euascd an exciting feeling in the market, and large quantities of oats have been on offer Tho order, however, has now been filled, and doubtless the market will ease off again. The hulk of the oats were secured at prices ranging from Is 7^d to Is Bi'l for mixed lines fo.ob.

The wheat market is dull, and very little is changing hands. It is reported that the "Millers Trust," which was inaugurated here at the commencement of last and which only existed for a short time, is again being revived, and will commence operations shortly.
