The first production of Rowley's Waxworks takes placo to-morrow evening in tho Drill Hall, and judging from all accounts, the management can safely rely flji' having a very successful seas&n here. ' "- ' Besides the Waswoi'M, the London .Company present a diversified programme, including a first-class Punch and Judy Show, which causes a great deal of amusement to young and old alike. Mr Vantil performs a number of clever and graceful acts on the horizontal bar, and Rexo, who appears in conjunction with tho former, is to be a source of merriment as a clown, whilp his juggling feats will open the eyes ,of the .audience. Mr Ward Lear is a capital comic ian^ei' ,<M}d mimic, while Neirbo, styled the king 'of Ventrilsquists, is said to have no equal in the Australasian colonies. Mr C. Bryant- will appear in somo of the latest Irish character, isongs. Some first-cCass singing and daneihg j may be espected from Mr D. Warns and Miss PaVenport.
