Brodie (Dunedin), Cham- | pionship and .£2O, 29 points ; James Gar- ; diner (Gore), .£l2, 27* : J. Beecrot (Maude- c ville), £8, 26i ;J. Mulvey (Gore), £6, 25i ; s J. A. t'cott (Gore) and C. Sounness (Edendale) divide tbe fifth and sixth prizes of £7, with 25 ; J. Lemniatt (Wellington) and ( H- Morris (Invercargill) divide seventh 6 and eighth prize, 24 £ ; J. A. Lucas (Dunedin), £1, 21- J. Boreham (Oamarn;, 10s, 13£. The first prize-takers are quite young. Gardiner, the second best player in the colony, is only 17.
