I 'ihe New Zealand Accident Insurance Co. | held its annual meeting of shareholders toj day. The diiectors reported increased business throughout the Australian coloI lies. £6,000 was added to the reserve fund. The usual dividend of 6d per share for the half-year was declared. Captain Robertson, of the Rotoiti, was lined £10 and 2s a head for J.7 passengers in excess of ceitihcate, with costs 28s. Defendant pleaded guilty. The ovcrciowding occurred at the Christmas holidays.
