* [By Electric Telegraph— Copyright,] (Pbr Press Association,) SYDNEY t March 20. An important discovery has been made at Wyalong. The main reef has been struck at a depth of forty feet, and this supports the belief in the existence of a permanent main body of stone of greater extent than has hitherto been opened up, A most phenomenal current is running south. Vessels becalmed ab the Heads, are drifting southward at the rate of four and a half knots per hour, Hobabt, March 26. A ballot of the men employed at the Amalgamated Mines at Mount Zeehan showed only one vote in favor of accepta reduction in wages. The proposal to reduce was only made by a few mine managers, and not by the employers' association. Many say the reduction is uu necessary.
