CABINET MEETING IN WELLINGTON.
IMPORTANT QUESTIONS DISCUSSED HUT NOT DECIDED. MEETING ADJOURNED TILL TOD*iT. (I'jsr Press Association.) Welijnoton, January 19. A Cabinet mooting was held to-day, all the niouibers of the Government boing prosont oxcopt Mr Oarroll, who returns from the North to-night. Several impoitanl questions, including the appointment of Railway Commissioners and the advisability of making fresh culls to the Legislative Counoil were discussed but no decision arrived at, pending tho arrival of tho Hon. Mr Carroll. A full meeting will bo held to-morrow, when it is expected some of the large policy questions will bo fiually disposed of.
