RAILWAY EMPLOYEES' CONFERENCE.
« ( Per Press Association,) Wellington, July 17. The Railway T 'mp!oyees' Conference this afternoon w.s occupied discussing the statements ma lo respecting the representative character of the delegates, re. gret being expvessßd that the Petona Workshops wero not represented, and steps were taken to get representative from them. A meeting was held at the workshops for thn purpose of electing a delegate to tho Conference, and several members of the Conference went out to snoak on the subject. The Conference adjourned until to-morrow morning.
