The sculling race between Sullivan (the New Zealander), and Bubear (exchampion of England), took place on the Nepean River on Saturday afternoon. The betting was 5 to 2 on Sullivan. Both men got away well, but Sullivan gradually forged ahead, and at the end of a quarter of a mile was leading Bubear by a length.
