MASONIC.

. The installation sorvice in {connection with the St. Androw Kilwinning Lodge, ..No. 481, S.C., took place last night at the Masonic Hall, Harrison Place. The lodge was tyled punctually at 7.30. There was a large attendance of the brethren, including those of the sister lodge (Tongariro), 705, E.C., and visitors .from ..Ma*ton,..FeUdinff,--Waverf6yr and Patea. The Lodge being opened in due form, the P.S.G. Deacon, Bro. J. L. Stevenson, P.M , was recoived as Installing Officer, and occupied the chair, and conducted : the service of installation in a very efficient manner.- The Right Worshiful Masterelect Bro. Hon. J. Ballance, wiis introduced and installed as Master of the • Lodge, according to ancient custom, Bro. J. H. Eeesing, P.M.-, ably assisting as . Master of Ceremonies. The choir rendered excellent music, and assisted greatly to the success of the ceremonies.
