Jackson report : — The cattle yarded to day were of medium quality, v.iih ilxd exception of -one line of 24 head, wbi h were of light weigh t,BuTgood qualify iiduot make 17s per 1001 b, and thereat 16a. Sheep were in full numbers, and maintained last sale prioes. We hud a large entry of pigs; this description of stock sold at our last sales' quotations We quote — Qattle— Bullocks (medium quality), £5 15s to £6 17s. 6d; average, £6 5s 6d. One line of 48 brought from £5 to £6 17s 6d; average, £5 16s. Twenty-four head of good quality {.light weight) brought from £5 12s 8d to £6 15s ; average, £6 3s. Veal calves were worth 10s to 24s each. Sheep — Wethers (best quality), 13s 8d to 148 4d, the latter being for a pen of heavy half-ored Shropshire wethers ; other lines, 13s Id to 13s 6d ; smaller sheep, 10a 61 to 11s 4d. Pigs — Baconers, 46d to 62s ; good large pigs, 21s to 365 ; porkers, 13s to 21s (according to size) ; stores, 5a to 12s.
