THE NEW PLYMOUTH CONSPIRACY CASE.
■ 1» THE CASE DISMISSED. (per united press association.) New Plymouth, May 6. The charge of conspiracy brought against the three Justices of the Peace by Joshua Jones, of Mokau, occupied the oourl' yesterday. This morning the Resident Magistrate dismissed the case, as there was not even a scintilla of evidence against defendants. Later. Judgment was given in the conspiracy case to-day, when the B.M. dismissed 1 the information. An application was made to have prosecutor bound over to prosecute under th* malicious indictment act, which was granted. This places the case virtually in the same position as if defendants had been committed, only they are not required to find sureties.
