The Ohrißtchuroh regatta, which, took place on the Sutnner Estuary to-day, was fairly attended. The weather was fine, but a stiff S.E. breeze made the water rough. The racing was good. 'Phe Champion Fours was won by the (Canterbury 8.0. orew, who beat the Union Club crew (Kesteyen's), after a slashing race for two miles, by three lengths. The Union defeat is ascribed to overtraining, Time 17mins 39fleos. Kaiapoi won the Champion Double 'joulls and Canterbury 2nd. The Champion Pairs were not rowed on account of the rough water. The Lyttelton (Hub won the junior fours, double sculls, and pairs.
