February 17, The notices issued to friendly societies by the Property Tax Depjrtaient are for rating purposes only, and there is no iufcention on the part of the department to enforoe payment of the tax from theae societies. Oardiual Moran wiil mccc with a hearty welcome here. The committee will proceed to the Heads to meet him. The opening of St. Patrick's College takes place on. Sunday, and a conversazione will be held on Tuesday night.
