BRISBANE.
July 22. Three children living in South Brisbane were examined by doctors yesterday, with the object of ascertaining whether they are suffering from smallpox. The doctors believe they are attacked with that disease, but are unable yet to decide definitely. July 22. The doctors have decided to-day that the malady, from which three children in South Brisbane are suffering, is smallpox, and the authorities have therefore considered it advisable to place them in quarantine. Every possible precaution is being taken to prevent the spread of the disease. ____________
