SYDNEY.
July 21. No fresh cases of small-pox have occurred in the city since the fifteenth inst. The vessels comprising the Detached Squadron, except the Bacchante, leave on Saturday for Auckland. July 22. The exact date of the departure of the Detached Squadron for Auckland is now rendered uncertain owing to the serious illness of the Eight Hon Earl of Clanwilliam, who was to-day attacked with severe fainting fits. His Lordship has since recovered consciousness.
