ADELAIDE.
July 21. The Local International Exhibition was opened to-day by his Excellency the Governor, in the presence of an assembly of several thousand persons, including the members of the Ministry, the Chief Justice, Mayor of Adelaide, and members of both Houses of Parliament. The opening ceremony passed off most successfully, and was concluded with the singing of an Inaugural Cantata. The exhibits of the building are already in a • forward state. < Arrived, this morning —The Orient : Company's steamship Orient, which left ' Plymouth on June 11th.
