AUCKLAND.
April 29. The Bank of New Zealand half yearly meeting was held to-day. The report stated that the net profit to 31st March, after making allowance for bad debts and depreciation amounted to ,£41,820. The balance of undivided profit is £8892 ; total available for division, £50,712. The following appropriation is recommended : — A dividend of ten per cent, £30,000. A bonus 2^ per cent., £7500, and balance carried to profit and loss, new account, £12,212. The report was adopted.
