BIBLE SOCIETY ELECTION OF OFFICERS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual meeting of the British and Foreign Bible Society was held recently. The Rev. H. Bloomfield presided. Mrs AVakelin, the organising secretary, was present. Mrs Robertson gave an interesting qddress. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mrs Arch. Clark; vice-presi-dents, the Rev. and Mrs H. Bloomfield, Rev. J. R. Higgs, Mesdames Bladen, Hardie, Pound, Miss Goodrick; secretary, 'Mrs T. E. Tidswell. Euchre Party. At the euchre party held in the Services Club on Tuesday. Mr M. B. Tait won the first prize, and Mrs Charles the second. A mystery parcel was won by Mr Tait.
