EUCHRE PARTY & DANCE GATHERING AT DYERVILLE (“Times-Age'’ Special.) There was a fair attendance at the euchre party and dance held by the Dyerville Hall Committee in the Dyerville Hall. The winners at euchre were: Ladies. Mrs Benton 1, Mrs McCardle 2. Men: Mr Cowan 1, Mr McKinley 2. Monte Carlo dances were won by Miss M. White and Mr H. Theobald and Mr and Mrs Morgan. The winner of the iced cake donated by Mrs McGaffin was Mr Waiwera. Swimming Club Dance There was a good attendance at the dance held in the Odd Fellows’ Hall by the Swimming Club. The lucky spot dance was won by Miss P. Duffy and partner and the Monte Carlo dance by •Miss D. Malton and Mr H. Hayman. Mr F. Duffy supplied the music. Personal Items Mrs Kirkwood is the guest of Mrs Waldsworth. Mrs Sharp, of Nelson, is spending a few days with her son, Mr V. Sharp, who recently took over the position of manager of the drapery department of the W.F.C.A. Mr Jorgson, of Khandallah, paid a visit to Martinborough over the weekend. Mr and Mrs Colton, Dyerville, have returned after a fortnight’s holiday.
