The Dunedin Jockey Club’s summer meeting is being held today in ideal weather, and before a big crowd. The track is very fast. Results:— Owhiro Hurdles; 1A miles: 1/I,.Nightcalm, 11.7 (Heasley), 1; 7/7, Gold Nugget, 9.4 Adamson), 2; 2/2 Heidelberg, 11.4 (P. J. Boyle), 3. All started. Won by three ’lengths; one length. Time, 2.40 1-5 —a track record. Novice Handicap, 6 furlongs: 11/13, Grand Forest, 7.13 (Mears), 1; 1/1, Good Cast, 8.10 (Messervy), 2; 6/7, Chestnut Glow, 8.8 (McDonald), 3. Scr.: St. Nattar,- Kiloney, Legislator. Won by half a length; half a haed. Time, 1.14 2-5. Flying Fortress Handicap, 7 furlongs: 1/1, Sister Sal, 7.0 (Messervy), 1; 3/3, Monetary, 8.8 (Didham), 2; 5/5, Silver Lily, 7.2 (Ford), 3. Scr.: Lord Advocate. Won by a length; a head.
