REGENT THEATRE
“DRUMS OF THE CONGO.” “Drums of the Congo” and “Bad Men of Missouri,” will be finally shown tonight. “REUNION IN FRANCE.” “Reunion in France,” which will be shown tomorrow night, is an M.G.M. production, starring Joan Crawford, Philip Dorn and John Wayne. France, before and after the occupation, affords a striking background for a gripping wartime story under the title of “Reunion in France.” The things which brought about the great changes in France are effectively woven into this picture, in which Joan Crawford plays a notable lead, with Philip Dorn also outstanding and John Wayne high in the cast. It is a most dramatic story of, Paris fights, of France in revolt, and of secrets of the underground in which a famed Parisian beauty finds romance wtih a stranded flyer. Included in the cast are Reginald Owen, Albert Basserman, John Carradine, Ann Ayers and Edward Bromberg. The picture is directed by Jules Dassin.
