TO NEW ZEALAND AIRMEN. EXPLOITS IN EUROPEAN THEATRES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Air exploits over Genoa, Malta and Dieppe are mentioned in the citations accompanying decorations awarded to five New Zealanders serving overseas, official news of which has been received by Air Headquarters, Wellington. The awards comprise a bar to the Distinguished Flying Cross, three D.E.C.’s, and a Distinguished Flying Medal. The recipients are: — Bar to Distinguished Flying Cross: Acting-Squadron Leader Robert Duncan Yule, R.A.F.; Dr E. Yule, Invercargill (father). Distinguished Flying Cross: ActingSquadron Leader Lloyd Julius Joel, R.A.F. Acting-Flight Lieutenant Henry Gift Coldbeck, R.N.Z.A.F.; Mrs E. M. Campbell, 8a North Road, Papanui, Christchurch (mother). Flying Officer George Esmond Jameson, R.N.Z.A.F.; Mr A. L. Jameson, Rotherham, North Canterbury (father). Distinguished Flying Medal: Flight Sergeant Frank Ellison Gatland, R.N.Z.A.F.; Mrs D. M. Gatland, c/o R. G. Waghorne, Hokeria, Great South Road, Drury (wife).
