NAZI MURDERERS
MUST BE BROUGHT TO TRIAL DECLARATION BY CZECH GOVERNMENT. NO ASYLUM FOR CULPRITS IN ANY COUNTRY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.25 a.m.) RUGBY, June 17. Preparations for the trial of Hit- ft ler, Himmler, Goering, Henlein and others responsible for the atrocities at Lidice and elsewhere in Czechoslovakia are being made by the Czechoslovak Government. At an extraordinary general session held in London this morning, the Government passed a resolution expressing its conviction that the culprits would not be allowed to find an asylum in any country after the war and announcing that it would prepare Courts to judge and punish the culprits with extreme penalties as soon as Czechoslovakia was released from bondage. The Government statement enumerated all those responsible for acts of barbarism, the li&t ranging from Hitler to higher German officials in the administration of Bohemia. All Germans, who aided or approved of the conduct of the culprits will also be tried as well as local traitors. MORE ATROCITIES THREATENED BY GERMANS. (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) LONDON, June 17. The Prague radio announced that information concerning those responsible for the death of Heydrich must be given before the night of June 18. “Otherwise,” it added, “very heavy penalties will be inflicted.”
