STATE THEATRE
"BLOOD AND SAND” The brilliant picture, “Blood and Sand,” will be finally shown tonight. “ADVENTURES OF MARCO POLO.” Tomorrow night’s programme will be headed by one of the most startling pictures ever brought to the screen, “The Adventures of Marco Polo.” Staged in an elaborate manner there are many astounding scenes which should hold picture patrons spellbound. The story is most graphically told and the performances of the principal actors and actresses reaches a standard rarely attained in pictures. It is certainly an offering which should not be missed by patrons who appreciate spectacular drama among brilliant scenes. As an adventure story it is one of the greatest ever brought to the screen. Gary Cooper has the leading role, assisted by Basil Rathbone and Binnie Barnes, who give outstanding performances.
