CHURCH SERVICES

The services at the Masterton Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow will be conducted by the Rt. Rev. John Davie. Special prayers will, be l offered in connection with United Nations Day. On Wednesday evening there will be a special congregational meeting. ’ The meetings at the Salvation Army Citadel tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Ransom arid members of the Corps Cadet Brigade Servicemen will be the guests of Major and Mrs Dick at supper at the Red Shield Club. , The services at the Lansdowne Presbyterian Church tomorrow morning and evening, and those at Mauriceville West at 1.30 p.m., and at Eketahuna at 3 p.m., will be conducted by the ffcv. D. McNeur. United Nations Flag Day services will be held at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow. Archdeacon Rich will preach on the message of the day at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Church and at Kuripuni. The Rev. I. iC. Edwards will conduct the Upper Plain service at 4 p.m. and Mr J. F. Jainc that at Kuripuni at 4 p.m. At the Methodist Church tomorrow United Nations Day will bo observed. At Masterton the preacher will be the Rev. H. S. Kings. The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be commemorated in the afternoon. There will be a service at Rangitumau. The Mission Band will conduct the afternoon service at Kuripuni. The morning service at the Baptist Church tomorrow will be held at 11 a.m. in the Y.M.C.A. Hall and will be conducted by Mr Milner, of Wellington. Mr Milner is organiser for the N.Z. Alliance. Sunday-school will be held at 10 a.m.
