AXIS SHIP OFF DUTCH COAST FIGHTERS ATTACK FACTORY IN FRANCE. ) SOME SCATTERED ENEMY RAIDS. LONDON, January 5. A Hudson aircraft of the Coastal Command attacked an enemy suply ship off the Dutch coast. Two bombs were seen to hit the ship. One of our fighter patrols attacked a factory in Northern France this afternoon. None of our aircraft is missing. There was some enemy air activity over Northern Ireland this afternoon. The air defences went into action and no bombs were dropped, but two people were injured by shrapnel. Two Messerschmitts which made a machine-gunning attack on an English coastal town were received with fierce anti-aircraft fire and one of the raiders is believed to have been hit. „
