TIN EXPORT TAX
PRODUCERS SEEK REMOVAL. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.35 p.m.) LONDON, November 17. The council of the Tin Producers’ Association passed a resolution urging the immediate withdrawal of the Malayan tin export tax. The council stated that the tax amounted to about £6O a year and was prohibitive. It was the only example within the British Empire of discrimination against buyers of non-British nationality.
