CANADA SHOWS INTEREST BLUE PRINTS AND SAMPLE OBTAINED. SIMPLE AND EFFICIENT WEAPON. LONDON, November 17. Recognition of the quality of Australian war production comes in the news that Canada has asked the Commonwealth for plans and specifications of the Owen tommy gun, named after its inventor. Blue prints and a sample of the gun are to be sent to Canada at once. The Canadian Trade Commissioner, in a recent inspection of the gun, was impressed greatly by its efficiency, cheapness and simplicity.
