SPIRIT OF TOBRUK

PRAISED BY GENERAL SIKORSKI EXAMPLE TO WHOLE WORLD. VISIT TO THE GARRISON. LONDON, November 17. The Polish Prime Minister and Ccmmander-in-Chief, General Sikorski, has returned from a two-day visit to Tobruk. The garrison includes Poles as well as Imperial troops. Before he left, General Sikorski accompanied a party of officers to the most advanced positions. General Sikorski said: “The fighting spirit of Tobruk is unconquerable. It is an example to the whole world.” Heavy dust - storms have interfered with, all activities at Tobruk, both in the air and on the ground, and a Cairo communique says there is nothing to report from North Africa.
