. PARTY TO VISIT BRITAIN. DURING ENGLISH SPRING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) itated today that a party of New Zealand journalists would visit Great Britain on the invitation of Mr Brendan Bracken, Minister of Information. All arrangements had now been completed, and the Government had readily accepted Mr Bracken’s suggestion that the visit should take place in the English spring. The invitation was conveyed to Mr Fraser during his visit to Britain, and the New Zealand organisations concerned were invited to nominate representative pressmen. The Newspaper Proprietors’ Association will be represented by Messrs E. V. Durable - ton (“Auckland Star”) and W. A. Whitlock (“Hawke’s Bay Herald-Tribune). Mr A. A. Hardcastle, president of the New Zealand Journalists’ Association, has been chosen to represent working journalists. Mr W. J. Green,editor of the “Standard,” will also be a member <)f the delegation. City, provincial and editorial staffs, reporting interests and Labour journalism, will be ably arid fully represented by this selection.
