OBITUARY
MRS E. BROWN. The death occurred yesterday at 85 Lincoln Road, Masterton, of a wellknown and highly respected resident in the person of Mrs Elizabeth Brown, at the age of 71 years. She was the daughter of a well-known Canterbury pioneers, Mr and Mrs William Webster Leeming. For the past thirty years she had resided in the Wairarapa where she had a wide circle of friends. She is survived by two sons and two daughters. The sons are Messrs Alexander Nicol (Palmerston North) and Charles Brown (Warkworth), and the daughters, Mesdames W. A. Finlayson (Martinborough), and W. Aitchison (Dannevirke).
The funeral will leave the late residence of Mrs Brown, Lincoln Road, on Thursday after a service at 2 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.
