PLASTIC PLANES
CHEAP AND DURABLE. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) TORONTO, November 14. Dr. Bigelow, of Toledo, addressing a meeting of the Society of Mechanical Engineers, said planes made with plastic plywood were every bit as durable as the metal constructed. By using plastic fuselages, wings and tail in plane assemblies there is a greater increase in production as well as a sharp decrease in costs. He added that plasfic planes had become an important factor in Canadian aircraft production,
