LADIES’ AUXILIARY. FINAL MEETING OF YEAR. At the final meeting of the year of the Ladies’ Auxiliary, the president, Mrs H. E. Pither, presided aver a .large attendance. Members observed a minute’s silence as a mark of respect to a late member, Mrs Wadham. The treasurer’s report showed a very favourable bank balance. The report concerning the spring fair was considered most satisfactory. The Auxiliary wish to thank all those who assisted in connection with the stalls. It was reported that the Mother and Daughter Tea had been a successful gathering, and that the final card party of the year had been well attended. Mrs Williams, on behalf of the Auxiliary, presented Mrs Pither with a bouquet of spring flowers, shoulder sprays to Mesdamcs Kerr and Pickering, and buttonhole to Mr Gaze. Mrs Pither extended the season’s greetings to members.
Afternoon, tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Williams and Pickering.
