.PARK CLUB. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. Mi’ Wallace (president) presided over a full attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the committee of the Masterton Park Bowling Club. The ’ green committee reported that the greens would be in perfect condition for the official opening on October 12. In response to a request from the Minister of Finance the committee passed a resolution recommending that the free of interest war loan be converted to the New Zealand Government War Loan of 1953, and that a special general meeting be held at the pavilion at. 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, to confirm or reject this recommendation.
