.PARK CLUB. MEETING OF COMMITTEE. Mi’ Wallace (president) presided over a full attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the committee of the Masterton Park Bowling Club. The ’ green committee reported that the greens would be in perfect condition for the official opening on October 12. In response to a request from the Minister of Finance the committee passed a resolution recommending that the free of interest war loan be converted to the New Zealand Government War Loan of 1953, and that a special general meeting be held at the pavilion at. 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, to confirm or reject this recommendation. The attention of members is called to the advertisement appearing in this issue of the "TimesAge” and they are requested to note that this will be the only notification of the meeting.
